Lately, I've become OBSESSED with baking! Especially cake. I LOVE CAKE! I love eating it. I love baking it. I love creating art with it! ... I love seeing the smiles on peoples faces when they first see their custom-made-special-day cake!
It has been one of the most heartwarming and rewarding experiences. :-)
Most people don't know this about me, but I've baked all my life. As a foster kid it was my way of healing myself and the people around me.
I've recently rediscovered my love for baking during lockdown in 2020. I started baking over-the-top birthday cakes for my friends, family, and neighbors in an attempt to make them (me) smile. With the ongoing support from family and friends (and some very well fed neighbors) I have finally made it official ... I'm now a fully certified pâtissière, and Sweets by Sweets LV is a fully licensed, registered, and insured private bakery.
I push to exceed expectations and take great care, to an obsessive degree, to make sure every detail is purrrrfect ... from the first look, to the last bite ... LET'S EAT CAKE!!
